Target Validation

The consequences of incorrectly cutting a circuit are grave. Imagine erroneously terminating an access required for a mission critical application of a large customer. It follows that a company will have to be 110% certain a circuit is not used prior to terminating it. Cost reduction and incremental revenue generation will only be possible if:

• a service can conclusively be linked to a circuit and,
• if the terms and conditions under which the circuit and the service were provided have been established.

It follows that it is necessary to establish the following for each individual circuit :

• if a customer owns a service using the circuit.
• if the circuit supplied to the provider is what the provider has ordered on behalf of its customer.
• if the circuit provider has correctly invoiced the service to the provider for the time the service was provided.
• if the price of the circuit is correct.
