Target Identification
The target identification phase of a reactive access cost reduction project aims to identify mismatches between services provided to and services invoiced by a carrier. Data sources are often inconsistent and the challenge lies in finding and using accurate data from these sources to recognize target access costs.
At the end of the identification phase, Allolio&Konrad will have compared the circuit inventory with the order management and network data sources. Circuits for which either no proof of installation can be found on the network or for which no purpose or customer can be established will be treated as targets for disconnection. Circuits for which feature discrepancies are being observed between the data sources or whose cost is not being recouped will be tagged for further investigation.
