Cost Management Assessment

Allolio&Konrad provides experience in assessing how well organizations are controlling access cost. Our access management effectiveness assessment will determine if an organization is incurring excessive access cost and will identify where access management processes are susceptible to unwarranted expenditures. We then recommend sensible reactive and proactive measures for access cost reduction and improved access management.

Although access management is in many ways the mirror image of revenue assurance, it does differ from reactive revenue assurance. The difficulties in the analysis are manifold:

• Identification of customer owning a particular circuit is not clear.
• Third party circuit providers have inaccurate data on orders provisioned on carrier?s behalf.
• Provider upgrades a circuit but does not communicate change to carrier.
• Provider invoices at incorrect price.
• PTT ownership circuit not clear.

By analyzing how helpful and comprehensive the existing processes, systems, and databases are in addressing the challenges above, our access management effectiveness methodology will provide an estimation of the magnitude of cost savings possible and what must be done to realize them.
